In the past two years, the usual models of outdoor screens are P4.81, P5, P6, P6.25, P7.61, P8, P10, P12, P14, P16, P18, P20, P25, but now with the improved R & D capability , the LED screen with a pixel pitch smaller than P2.8 can be used outdoors. In this case, some people may be curious, with so many types, so how do we choose? Here are some suggestions for the reference:
1. According to the area
The screen is less than 20 square meters, it is recommended to use high-definition refresh outdoor screen between P2.5-P5. The area between 20 and 30 square meters is recommended to use LED full-color display between P5 and P10. The area is between 30 and 100 square meters and the viewing distance is 10 meters away. The large LED screen between P10 and P16 is recommended .
2. According to the distance
We all know that P is the pixel pitch, and the value behind P mainly refers to the distance between pixels of the display module. In the LED industry, we usually call it pixel pitch. The smaller the pixel pitch , the more the number of pixels per unit pixel, the clearer the visual effect of the display, and more suitable for close viewing. Therefore, for the outdoor LED screen, if the distance is relatively close, we recommend to chose pixel pitch between P2.5 and P12, if it is farther, use P15 or P16, and further away, P16 to P25 would be the better solution
If the area is ≥100 square meters, the viewing distance is beyond 30M, it is recommended to use a screen above P16. Because the display screen above P16 is suitable for customers who do not require high definition, they can display simple images and video/ pictures in the distance. For those large screen, if the customers do not require high resolution screen resolution , you can choose a screen with a large pixel pitch.
